ORDER PROCESS

Submitting an Order Orders may be submitted by email to hello@printmythreads.com or a Print My Threads employee email. We will work with customers to finalize artwork, garment style and color, print specifications, and provide a per piece price quote. Following that, order review and approvals will be done through the Print My Threads Customer Portal.

Finalizing an Order An order is considered finalized when all three of these steps have been completed:

1 - Customer approves digital art proof.

2 - Customer approves order details (including style, color, print location, quantity, and price).

3 - Customer pays full invoice amount (unless other terms specified).

Minimum Orders & Reprints Minimum orders are typically 50 pieces per design and style. Orders that contain Youth and Adult sizes or have more than 3 print colors or more than 2 print locations may be subject to higher minimums.

While we strive to deliver the exact number of pieces in every order, Customers who require exact numbers are strongly encouraged to order additional pieces to cover any vendor spoilage or misprints (see Underruns & Spoilage below).

Reprints may be done for as few as 25 pieces based on the number of print colors and locations.

Pricing Your price will be determined by the garment selected, the quantity ordered, the number of print colors, and the number of print locations. Additional charges for rush jobs, design work, and fulfillment services may be added. Because vendors may change the price of blanks without warning, quoted prices are good for 24 hours and may be subject to change after that.

Payment Unless prior arrangements have been made, all orders must be paid in full before blanks will be ordered or production will begin. Payment may be made by credit card through the Customer Portal, by ACH via QuickBooks invoice, or by check payable to Print My Threads. Organizations that require Purchase Orders or other terms should inquire for more information.

Turnaround Time  Standard turnaround time is 7-10 business days after an order has been fully approved and paid and does not include shipping time. Because ship times from vendors vary, we are not able to guarantee delivery on standard turnaround jobs.

In-hands dates listed in the Customer Portal are best approximations available when orders are placed. They are not a guarantee of delivery. If you have a firm in-hands date, please provide that when placing your order and Print My Threads will try to accommodate it. Rush fees may apply.

Pick Up & Shipping When you approve your order, please check that the delivery address is correct. Print My Threads is not responsible if the wrong address is approved on your order.

Print My Threads will provide shipment tracking numbers in the Customer Portal. Print My Threads is not responsible for items once they have left our facility or for complications for any reason such as errors, weather, strikes, or other conditions.

Local orders may be picked up at Print My Threads by appointment only. Please email or text in advance to confirm your pick-up window.

Checking Your Order Please check your order and notify us of any problems within 72 hours of delivery. See additional information below.

Changes/Cancellations Orders may be canceled prior to final approval without penalty. Once an order has been fully approved and paid, it is considered to be in production and cannot be canceled for a full refund. Contact Print My Threads if you hope to make any changes to your order at any time in the process.

DESIGNS

Digital Art Print My Threads requires that customers provide all digital files necessary for their order. If you do not have a final design, Print My Threads may provide assistance or recommend templates to work from, but you are responsible for the final product including quality and resolution.

All submitted files must be 300 DPI or vector format. The design should be sized to the size you would like for it to print. All text must be embedded or font files need to be sent with the artwork.

Our printing can only be as good as the artwork. Print My Threads is not responsible for poor quality printing due to poor artwork. Print My Threads is not responsible for any misspellings, errors, or issues in your art file once it has been approved for printing.

Acceptable design formats include:

  • Illustrator (.ai)
  • Vector (.eps)
  • Photoshop (.psd)
  • Editable PDF
  • Image Files if no other format is available* (.jpeg, .png, .tiff)

*Low resolution images will typically need to be redrawn in order to prepare them for screen printing. This will result in a design fee.

Content In submitting any Content (artwork, text, and design), to Print My Threads, the customer understands and acknowledges that you are responsible for whatever Content is submitted, and you, not Print My Threads, have full responsibility for the Content, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness.

By uploading or otherwise transmitting Content to Print My Threads in any manner, the customer warrants the Content is your own, is in the public domain, you have the right to use such Content, or the Content is otherwise free of proprietary or other intellectual property restrictions of any kind, and that you have the right to submit it and have it printed.

The customer agrees to indemnify, release, and hold Print My Threads harmless from any and all liability, claims, actions, loss, harm, damage, injury, cost, or expense arising out of any Content submitted for printing.

Art Approvals When the artwork is complete, the customer will receive a digital Art Proof via their customer portal for approval. You must check spelling, color, sizes, placement of the art, and accuracy of artwork. It is very important to look over every detail of the Art Proof since this is how your apparel will be printed. Print My Threads will not accept responsibility for corrections not implemented and/or requested after artwork approval. Any modifications requested after customer approval will result in production delays and could require additional expenses. Any delays in the approval process longer than 24 hours after receipt of the Art Proof could result in production delays.

Color Matching Print My Threads can provide Pantone Color Matching for your ink. Please remember that because there is not a universal color calibration for computers, colors may look different on different monitors. Final ink color ink may vary based on print style, garment type, or garment blend. Print My Threads is not responsible for these variances.

THE PRINTING PROCESS

Samples Due to the nature of screen printing, printed samples are not available. Customers may order samples of blank shirts and Print My Threads will invoice for the cost of the sample and shipping.

Screens Print My Threads doesn’t charge setup/screen fees. Like the rest of the industry, we will use the same set of screens per design ordered. The graphic will print the exact same size, no matter the size of the item we are printing on. Each set of screens will be considered a different order, with pricing and minimums charged accordingly. Additional screens may be needed when printing youth sized shirts depending on the size of the artwork and desired look.

Collar & Seam Printing Inconsistencies may occur in registration and ink coverage when printing near or over the collar, seams, or any other edges. Any large prints may run the risk of going over the sleeve seam. These are all considered acceptable goods and will not be considered for reprints.

Hoodie Printing Inconsistencies may occur in registration and ink coverage when printing over the zipper, pockets, or any other uneven surfaces. Print My Threads will not be responsible for these inconsistencies but will make every effort to deliver the highest quality print based on your approval.

Specific Measurements There is no way to efficiently measure the distance from the collar on each shirt as it is loaded onto the press. If you request a print that is 2” down from the collar, we will use that as a guide and do our best to meet that target. Not all shirts will hit exactly at 2”, they may be off by as much as a half an inch in either direction depending on the way the shirt was sewn. This will not be considered a misprint and Print My Threads will not reprint or refund these shirts.

ORDER & QUALITY ASSURANCE

Garment Disclaimer Print My Threads is not responsible for manufacturer defects such as color inconsistencies, stitching errors, mislabeled garments, loose/inconsistent stitching, and/or garment defects (holes in garments, ripped seams, etc.). We try our hardest to inspect the garments as we print them, but we cannot guarantee each garment. We are not the manufacturers of these garments, so we cannot ensure their construction. If the timeframe allows we may be able to send back the defective garments and get new ones in time for printing. We highly recommend ordering 5% extra of each size if an exact count is important.

Some manufacturers over-dye their garments. Over-dying is the process of re-dying a garment after its initial manufacture. Because of this, Print My Threads cannot 100% guarantee exact color consistency.

Out of Stock Items Print My Threads is not responsible for items that are out of stock. Your blanks will be purchased after your order is finalized and payment is received. While we do our best to provide you with accurate information about inventory during the order process, we cannot guarantee that items will still be in stock when we order your blanks. We do not stock inventory and cannot place a hold on blanks. We will make every effort to provide substitutions or alternates and get your approval on them before ordering.

Order Check We try to check every garment as it comes off of the press, out of the dryer, and when boxed. However, mistakes are possible. It is your responsibility as the customer to check over garments as you receive them. We allow an industry standard 72-hour window from the time you receive the goods to notify us of any issues with the order. Print My Threads will not be responsible for errors with your order if notified after 72 hours of receiving the goods. Print My Threads also will not be responsible for any lost income, customers, accounts, and/or contracts if defective garments are sent out to your final customer. While Print My Threads does quality checks on the garments, the final quality assurance check lies with the customer.

Underruns & Spoilage Print My Threads will do its very best to deliver the exact quantity of garments ordered every time. However, shirts may arrive from the manufacturer with holes, stains, or miscounts, and printing mistakes may happen. We will not be responsible for underruns or spoilage up to 3% on jobs of 100+ shirts per design, and up to 10% on jobs of less than 100 pieces. Please keep this in mind when ordering and consider ordering extras. We always do our best to get you what you ordered and we will refund you the cost of any items shorted from your order but typically spoilage must be more than 10 shirts per design for a reprint.

Claims & Reprints We go to great lengths to try to ensure that every order that leaves our facility is correct. We value all of our customers and your business. Any order printed differently than the mock-up approved will be granted a reprint of the defective product. Please email hello@printmythreads.com within 72 hours of receiving your product to submit a claim. We do not offer refunds, but will gladly reprint any production errors that exceed the spoilage rate.

Design Services Print My Threads offers free online templates at printmythreads.com/stock-designs that may be useful to customers that need design services. Customers can choose a design and Print My Threads will personalize it for them (e.g. name, date, color scheme) at no charge. Occasionally, Print My Threads will agree to do custom designs for an additional fee.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions apply to all work that a customer may engage Print My Threads for and the company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of these Terms and Conditions at any time for any reason. It is the responsibility of the customer to check these Terms and Conditions for changes. Any continued patronage of Print My Threads services following the posting of changes will indicate that you accept and agree to any changes made to these Terms and Conditions by Print My Threads.
